Enhance your patient teaching and management strategies, and optimize patient outcomes with this professional development course.  The four full-day sessions will provide you with a thorough review of current diabetes theory, state-of-the art management, and specific adult education concepts. Whether you conduct individual or group diabetes education, you’ll learn to apply pathophysiological, psychosocial, and educational principles to improve your patients’ acquisition of skills and knowledge.

Designed for health practitioners without specific diabetes skills or training within the last five years, this comprehensive course also serves as a beneficial review for certified diabetes educators (CDE) and preparation for those considering certification.

Registration and Payment

All registration and payment for CSU Continuing Education programs must be processed through CSU’s secure online system. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Corporate Checks are the only forms of payment accepted, and they must be processed through the online payment system. No payments are accepted by phone or through USPS mail, as these are not secure methods to transfer payment information. Money Orders, Purchase Orders, American Express, Personal Checks, and Cash are NOT accepted forms of payment for any CSU Continuing Education program.

 

Refund Policy

Intent to withdraw or transfer must be made two full business days before the start of the program for a refund or transfer to be processed. Call (216) 687-3867 or email j.n.muscatello@csuohio.edu to withdraw or transfer. No refunds will be issued or transfers processed for requests received less than two full business days before the program.
